Kanye West’s bid to get on the Illinois ballot for President has just hit an unexpected bump.
According to TMZ, there are serious objections about the petition signatures that Kanye has submitted.
The report reveals that 3 objections have been filed with the Illinois Board of Elections; this means that it will now evaluate the validity of the signatures on his petition, and then hold a special meeting to decide whether or not Kanye’s name gets printed on the state’s ballots.
Officials who spoke to the news outlet disclosed that anyone can request to take a closer look at Kanye’s 412 petition papers which he submitted last week. Also, every single signature can be objected to for different reasons (including possible duplicates and/or use of fake names.
