NIGERIA – The minister of aviation, Hadi Sirika has disclosed that the Nigerian airspace would be opened to international flights in weeks Sirika, speaking on Thursday, August 6, at the joint national briefing of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, stated that the aviation industry was making plans to reopen.

The minister, however, did not give any specific date regarding the resumption of international flights, Daily Trust reported.

He urged Nigerians to bear with the federal government over the closure of the international airports, pointing out that the continuous closure is not on purpose as it was done on health reasons.
