Gareth Bale has maintained that he will not leave Real Madrid as he hopes to see-off the remaining two years of his contract to see him earn another £60million.

The Welshman was spotted playing golf in Madrid after excluding himself from Real Madrid’s tough Champions League encounter against Premier League side Manchester City.

Club manager Zinedine Zidane explained that the former Tottenham winger told him that he will not be available for the Champions League tie.

Bale has now missed Real Madrid’s last eight games but he says he will stick to his guns and stay at the club as payback for failing to let him leave last summer.

The 31-year-old is reportedly furious that the club didn’t allow him complete his mega-switch to China in 2019.
