Chief Femi Fani-Kayode’s lawfully wedded wife, Mrs Regina Fani-Kayode (nee Hanson-Amonoo), has declared she remains the ex-minister’s wife.

She says in the 23 years of their marriage, she was never abused by her husband, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode. She maded this known while taking questions from a PUNCH Newspaper report on Monday in reaction to allegations that Fani-Kayode abused his estranged wife, Precious Chikwendu.

Mrs. Regina, who is a Ghanaian, has been married to Fani-Kayode based according to the Ghanaian customs since 1997 after which they subsequently went to the Apapa Registry in Lagos in 2002 to legalize the marriage according to the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
